Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: During his two-day tour of Latur and Beed districts, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar stated that he chose not to engage in arguments with the opposition as his party has a substantial number of welfare schemes and development projects to showcase. In response to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari's remarks about the Majhi Ladki Bahin scheme, Pawar expressed his intention to discuss the matter with Gadkari upon returning to Mumbai to understand the basis of his statement. Pawar emphasized the government's commitment to all communities' comprehensive development and encouraged support for the Mahayuti alliance in the upcoming assembly elections. He reaffirmed his party's unwavering dedication to secularism, citing the principles of historical figures like Shivaji Maharaj, Mahatma Phule, Shahu Maharaj, and Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. Pawar highlighted the Jan Sanman Yatra initiative, which aims to raise awareness about government schemes, including the Majhi Ladki Bhagin Yojana that provides financial assistance to hardworking women. He also mentioned other initiatives such as free education for girls, electricity bill waivers for farmers, and a crop insurance scheme. Additionally, Pawar addressed the subsidy on milk, increased honorariums for various roles, and the government's commitment to the welfare of all sections of society, transcending barriers of caste, religion, region, and language.He expressed confidence that these initiatives would persist for the next five years with support for Mahayuti in the imminent elections.
